“nYsion is Dedicated to Improving Quality of Life”
Our Work
Evidence-Based Treatment
We provide treatment modalities that are backed by scientific evidence, supporting the effectiveness of treatment.
Individualized Care
We emphasize that treatment is not a one size fits all. Each person requires treatment based on their specific needs.
Dual Diagnostic Mental Health & Addiction Treatment
We understand that co-occurring disorders must both be treated in order to attain long term recovery
Residential Detoxification Service
There are many risks associated with detoxification of substances. It is importance that detox occur in a safe environment overseen by healthcare professionals.
Residential Inpatient Treatment
Intensive psychiatric, psychological, and other treatment services are necessary for those living with untreated mental health conditions and substance abuse disorders to create positive change in their lives.
Partial Hospitalization Treatment
Continued psychiatric sessions, psychotherapy, counseling, and education about mental health and substance use issues further enables life-long recovery.
Levels Of Care
Residential Detoxification Service
First, clients are brought in to the Detox level of care. Detox typically lasts 7 days.
Detox begins with a visit with a medical physician experienced in addiction medicine. A detox taper is established by the physician and clients are monitored 24 hours daily. After the first few days of stabilizing clients with detox medications, clients meet with the psychiatrist while in detox. This allows the treatment team to begin building a treatment plan for the client and begin stabilizing them for any mental health conditions.
Additional services provided in detox
In addition to medical and psychiatric services in detox, psychological treatment and holistic treatment is also provided. In detox, rather than having a set schedule for therapy sessions, due to the physically painful nature of detox, the therapist is on-call to talk at anytime. If a detox client is struggling, the clinical director makes it a priority to meet with the client as soon as possible. This prevents clients from leaving treatment early to return to substance abuse. Holistic services provided include massage therapy, meditation, and art therapy.
Residential Inpatient Treatment
After 7 days of detox, clients are fully tapered off of their detox regiments. They are fully sober, and ready for the next level of care. Residential treatment duration is 28 days and the focus is identifying and treating the root causes of their addiction. Clients still receive 24-hour care.
Commonly, untreated mental health conditions such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety can be a cause of addiction and trigger for relapses. In therapy and psychiatric sessions mental health conditions are observed, diagnosed, and treated.
Daily group therapy consists of themes such as relapse prevention, emotions management, identifying coping skills, processing, healthy relationships, identifying triggers, shame resilience, understanding boundaries, problem solving skills, goal setting, coping with addiction, and more.
Additional services provided in residential
Clients leave residential treatment knowing exactly how to survive in the real world. This includes understanding how to budget for meals, grocery shop, and how to prepare healthy meals. Clients hands-on budget for groceries and prepare their own healthy meals.
In addition to evidence based treatments practiced in therapy, holistic treatment is provided as well. This includes massage therapy, meditation, and art therapy.
Partial Hospitalization Treatment
After 28 days in the residential level of treatment, clients are now 35 days sober from illicit drugs. After 35 days in the residential facility, clients transition to the sober living environment. While in the sober living environment there is no longer 24 hour supervision, but there is 24-hour access to crisis services. A house manager is on site to enforce house rules and ensure residents are living healthy lifestyles. Residents share meals together, house chores, and hold movie nights together. Five days per week clients go to the residential facility to attend group therapy. Individual and family therapy sessions continue as well. If sessions with the psychiatrist are still needed, they are continued. Residents go together for community meetings like AA and NA.
Living in a sober living environment while continuing therapeutic treatment allows individuals to slowly transition back into society. By exiting the inpatient facility and entering the sober living environment, individuals are given free range to experience freedom and the associated triggers that may come along with that freedom. The Partial Hospitalization level of care allows clients the opportunity to experience returning to daily life, while maintaining the support system provided through continued treatment. Individuals get the opportunity to practice using the skills and tools acquired in inpatient treatment.
Additional services provided in Partial Hospitalization Treatment
While in Partial Hospitalization Treatment clients gain further tools to survive in the real world after treatment. They begin credit monitoring and identifying strategies for improving their individual credit. They are taught the importance of credit and how to utilize it.
