In order for those who are suffering with untreated mental health conditions and substance abuse to achieve long term recovery, access to detoxification, inpatient treatment, and intensive outpatient programs must be accessible.

nYsion’s objective is to raise funds for treatment and to communicate and coordinate with community members about facilitating permanent solutions for those suffering with untreated mental health conditions and substance abuse disorder in the community. The quality care that nYsion facilitates is strategically implemented to promote lifelong recovery. nYsion focuses on providing the necessary psychological and psychiatric treatment for those who are at-risk of being homeless and the unsheltered chronically homeless.

Evidence-Based Treatment

We provide treatment modalities that are backed by scientific evidence, supporting the effectiveness of treatment.

Individualized Care

We emphasize that treatment is not a one size fits all. Each person requires treatment based on their specific needs.

Dual Diagnostic Mental Health & Addiction Treatment

We understand that co-occurring disorders must both be treated in order to attain long term recovery

Our Belief

nYsion believes that existing resources must be utilized to provide refuge to those who suffer with untreated mental health conditions and substance addictions. Untreated mental health conditions and substance abuse must be treated by licensed experts experienced in dual diagnostic treatment.

Detoxification and Addiction Treatment is Necessary in Order to Diminish Homelessness

Many people are living with untreated mental health conditions and struggling with substance abuse. Those who are unable to afford the costly treatment to detox from substances, and receive psychiatric care for mental health conditions, need access to treatment. Many of those who find themselves homeless, first found themselves suffering from untreated mental health conditions. Oftentimes those who do not have the financial ability to receive professional treatment for mental health conditions resort to self-medicating with illegal substances.

nYsion understand that for members of the indigent community, improving their quality of life requires substance abuse treatment and mental health treatment. In order to establish themselves back into society, the root cause of the disruption to their lives must be treated.

Experienced Healthcare Professionals are Necessary to Create Change

Before individuals can be expected to completely change the way they live their lives, detoxification, inpatient treatment, and intensive outpatient programs must be provided. Through receiving professional treatment for substance abuse and mental health conditions, individuals are able to safely detoxify and stabilize themselves with anti-psychotic medications as needed. Clients prepare themselves for long term sobriety with therapeutic tasks such as identifying potential triggers, discussing methods for relapse prevention, practicing emotions management, identifying coping skills, processing trauma, establishing healthy relationships, practicing shame resilience, understanding boundaries, building problem solving skills, goal setting, coping with addiction, and more.
